Participation requires an application and our approval. We review every application by hand for relevance, quality, and alignment with how we want this program to run, and we rely on the accuracy of the information you submit. We may approve, reject, suspend, or close an affiliate account at our discretion, including for a violation of these terms or the promotional guidelines. Where a jurisdiction's advertising rules require it, you agree to disclose your affiliate relationship with us whenever you promote a referral link.
The default commission rate, second-tier rate, commission duration, and other terms are published on the program page and may be changed for future earnings at our discretion. A change to the program's default rate does not alter a commission already earned — the rate in effect when a commission was created is the rate that commission is paid at. Commissions are calculated against Net Eligible Subscription Revenue only. Where the program page states a second tier is active, a Second-Tier Referral earns the published second-tier rate against that same measure — never a third tier, and never both a direct and a second-tier rate on the same referral.
No commission is earned on taxes, processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, credits, free trial periods, donation funds processed through giving, one-time website setup or SEO services, custom app development, consulting, or any other third-party pass-through amount. A refund or a lost payment dispute reduces or reverses the related commission, including one already paid, as a debit against future earnings.
Each affiliate receives a unique referral code and link. A referral is attributed to the affiliate whose approved link, code, or tracked campaign a visitor most recently clicked, within the attribution window published on the program page, before that visitor subscribes a church. Attribution is recorded server-side and does not depend on a visitor's browser alone. Where the same visitor is claimed by more than one affiliate's link, the most recent click before subscription controls. Where a referral otherwise eligible for this program also arrives through a registered lead from an approved agency or reseller partner, we resolve the conflict in our reasonable discretion and our decision is final.
Commissions are held for the validation period published on the program page before becoming payable, and are paid on the schedule published there once your payable balance crosses the published minimum payout threshold. An unpaid balance below that threshold rolls forward to the next payout cycle rather than expiring. We choose the payout method available to your account. A refund, chargeback, or a violation of these terms discovered after payment is a debit against future earnings, and we may adjust or withhold a payout where we reasonably believe a referral is fraudulent or invalid pending review.
You agree to promote the program truthfully: no misleading claims about Church By Faith, its pricing, its donation handling, or what the product does; no impersonating Church By Faith or implying an affiliation broader than this program; visible disclosure of your affiliate relationship wherever required; no spam, cookie stuffing, or fake accounts; no self-referrals (Section 4 of the program's promotional guidelines covers this in detail); no unauthorized paid advertising on our brand terms or unauthorized bidding on our trademarks in paid search; no fake discounts or coupons we did not authorize; and compliance with applicable advertising, privacy, email, SMS, and consumer-protection law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use our name, logo, and program materials solely to promote Church By Faith under these terms, for as long as you remain an approved affiliate. You may not alter our marks, imply an endorsement or partnership we have not given in writing, or register a domain, social handle, or paid keyword that is confusingly similar to ours. This license ends immediately on suspension or termination of your account.
What the program records about a visitor who follows a referral link is described in full, separately, on the program's privacy disclosure page, which forms part of these terms. Program data we share with you — your own referral, click, and commission records — is confidential to your account and may not be shared with a third party except to the extent needed to receive payment or comply with law.
You are solely responsible for any tax owed on amounts paid to you under this program. We may require tax documentation appropriate to your country before releasing a payout, and may withhold payment until it is provided where law requires it.
We keep the records our systems generate about your referrals, clicks, and commissions for as long as needed to administer the program and meet our own legal obligations, and you can review your own records from your affiliate dashboard at any time. We may review your promotional activity and referral traffic where we have a reasonable basis to investigate fraud, abuse, or a violation of these terms, and may request information reasonably necessary to complete that review.
Either party may end the relationship at any time, with 30 days' notice where termination is without cause. We may suspend or terminate immediately, without notice, for fraud, illegal conduct, brand abuse, misrepresentation, a security issue, or another material breach of these terms. Commissions already earned and payable as of the termination date, net of the validation period in Section 5, remain payable under these terms; no new commissions accrue afterward. A commission connected to fraud or a violation of these terms may be withheld or reversed regardless of when the termination took effect.
We will notify affiliates of a material change to these terms before it takes effect. Continued participation after that notice constitutes acceptance of the change. A change to these terms is never applied retroactively to a commission already earned. Each published version of these terms carries its own version number and effective date, shown below.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute arising from this program is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Puerto Rico. Written notice to the Company under these terms goes to:
