Your privacy at Jesus King of Kings
What we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do. Written to be read, not to protect us.

The short version
We do not sell your information. We do not publish it. We do not share it with anyone outside this ministry except the services named below that make the website work.
Your prayer request is confidential. It is read by the prayer team and by the pastors, and it is never posted on this website, never shown to the congregation, and never used as an example or a testimony without asking you first.
When you ask for prayer
We keep what you write, the name you give, and the email address or phone number you leave so somebody can reply to you. That is all the form asks for and all we store.
It goes to the prayer team and the pastors. Nobody else in the congregation sees it. We do not send it to anyone outside the ministry, and no part of what you write is ever sent to Google or to any other company.
If you want your request deleted, write to us and we will delete it. You do not have to give a reason.
When you send a testimony
A testimony is different from a prayer request: it is meant to be read. Even so, nothing is published until you have said we may, and the contact details you leave are used only to reach you about your story. They are never shown on the website.
If you later want your testimony taken down, tell us and we will take it down.
When you subscribe
We keep your email address so we can write to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone. Every message has a way to stop, and you can also just ask us.
Text messages
If you give us a phone number and agree to receive text messages, we use it only to send the messages you asked for — service reminders, schedule changes, and messages from groups you chose to join. Giving a number is never a condition of anything else on this site.
Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with, or sold to, third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Stopping takes effect straight away, and it does not undo anything else you have chosen.
When you request or buy a book
When you ask for a free book we collect your first name and email address so we can address you and deliver the file, and — only if you choose to share them — your last name, your mobile phone number, and anything you write in the prayer box. We also record which book you asked for, your preferred language, and which page of the site the request came from.
You always receive the book. The delivery email and the download link are part of handing you what you asked for, not marketing. Anything beyond that happens only with your separate permission: one checkbox for occasional ministry emails, another for phone calls or text messages. Neither is ever pre-ticked, and leaving both empty changes nothing about the gift.
We record exactly which wording you agreed to and when, so we can always answer what you said yes to. You can withdraw either permission at any time — the unsubscribe link in our emails, a reply, or a phone call all work — and phone messages can be stopped by replying STOP.
When you buy a digital book we create an order with the book, the amount, and the email address you give the payment page, and we deliver the file by download link and receipt email. Your card details are entered on the payment processor’s own secure page and never reach this website — we never see or store card numbers.
How we count visits
This website uses Google Analytics to count how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where in the world they are. It helps us know whether the teaching and the prayer pages are reaching anyone.
What Google receives from us is limited on purpose:
- Which page was read, in which language, and on what kind of device
- That somebody asked for prayer, downloaded a book, or subscribed — the fact that it happened, never who
- An approximate location, from your IP address, which is shortened before it is stored
What Google never receives: your name, your email address, your phone number, and no part of what you wrote in any form on this site. Not one sentence of a prayer request.
We have also switched off Google's advertising features. This ministry does not build advertising audiences from its visitors and does not follow you around the internet.
Google Analytics uses cookies to tell a returning reader from a new one. If you would rather not be counted at all, your browser can block cookies for this site, or you can use Google's own opt-out add-on. Nothing on this website stops working if you do.
Who else touches the data
A few companies, because a website cannot run without them:
- Vercel, which serves the website itself
- Supabase, where prayer requests, testimonies, member accounts, book requests and orders are stored
- Resend, which delivers our transactional email — invitations, book deliveries and receipts
- Stripe, which processes card payments for digital books on its own secure pages
Each one is storage, delivery or payment processing for us and uses nothing for its own purposes. Beyond the services named on this page, nothing on this site is shared with anybody.
Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child under 13. If a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Asking us to delete something
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below. We do not require a form, a reason, or an account.
Members who sign in can see and edit their own profile, and can delete their whole account themselves: in the Church By Faith app under Profile → Settings → Delete account, or on the web without the app. We confirm it is you by emailing a code or a link to the account’s address.
Deleting an account removes the sign-in (including linked Google or Apple sign-in) and every session, the profile and photo, church memberships, prayer requests, journal, Bible notes, messages, group posts, care appointments and the church’s contact record, and cancels any monthly gift with the payment service first. It happens right after you confirm, usually within a minute.
Some records are kept without any link to the account: donation records for 7 years (churches need them for accounting and tax receipts), content published for a church as a leader, anonymous audit logs, and a record that the deletion happened (with a one-way hash of the email, not the address) for 12 months. Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
