Your data belongs to your church

Not to us, and not to whoever set the account up. This page says what that means in practice, including how you leave.

What your church owns

Your membership records, your groups, your events and registers, your giving records, your courses, your sermons and your uploaded media. Ask and we will export them for you.

What each member controls

  • Their own profile and its privacy settings

What other members can see is their decision.

  • Their communication consents

Recorded per channel. A member who has not consented to text messages is not in the recipient list.

  • Their private content

A journal and direct messages are theirs, not the church’s.

Deletion on request

Prayer requests and testimonies can be deleted at the request of the person who submitted them, which is a specific capability rather than a promise.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, and we do not use one church’s congregation to advertise to another. Analytics on our own marketing pages never carry a member’s personal information.

How do we get our data out?
