Email campaigns
Write a campaign, send yourself a test, have it approved and send it to a segment. Contacts, tags and segments sit beside your membership rather than in a separate marketing tool, and each person’s email consent is recorded and respected.
Announcements in the portal and the app
Posted to the whole church or a targeted audience, with a cover image, a schedule and an expiry — so a notice about last Sunday stops showing on Wednesday.
Automatic app notifications
Members and leaders are notified about the things that need them: a new prayer request for the leaders who handle them, a reply from a pastor, a direct message. Notifications say that something is waiting, never what a private message says.

Shared, assigned and private where it should be
Email replies land in a team inbox where conversations are assigned, snoozed, noted and answered from templates in English and Spanish. Sensitive categories are hidden from roles that should not see them.
Text messages, one to one
A pastor can text with a member from the inbox using your church’s own number. Texting is for conversations, not bulk sends — there is no mass-texting feature.
Phone calls
Your church’s number can ring your team in the browser, follow business hours and ring groups, and fall back to a cellphone. We are still verifying parts of this with our phone provider, so we set it up with you rather than as a self-serve switch.

Setup and availability
Email campaigns and announcements work once your church is set up; we confirm email sending with you during onboarding. Texting and calls need your church to connect its own Signal House account, complete US carrier (10DLC) registration and be approved by us before the number goes live. WhatsApp is not available.
Consent is a record, not an assumption
Consent is stored per person and per channel — email, text and calls separately, each with when and how it was given. A person who has not agreed to a channel is not reached on it, and a STOP reply is honoured.

- Can we send a text message to the whole church?
- No. Texting in Church By Faith is one-to-one, from the team inbox. Group announcements go out by email campaign, in-app announcement and app notification.
- Do our members need the app to get messages?
- No. Email reaches people wherever they are. Announcements appear in the portal in any browser and in the app, and app notifications need the app.
- Can we send in Spanish?
- Yes. The whole platform is bilingual and each member reads it in the language they chose, and inbox templates exist in both languages.
