Discipleship is the part most church software leaves out

Managing a church and ministering to a person are different jobs, and most systems only do the first. Church By Faith does both, which is why a course, a reading plan and a prayer request all live beside the membership record.

The tools people grow with

  • Courses you write yourself

Lessons in the order you set, with video where you want it. Publish to your church, archive when a season ends.

  • Bible reading plans

A schedule of readings, with each reader’s progress private to them. Leaders see how many people are reading, never who.

  • Bible reading and study

Multiple versions, a dictionary, highlights, search and comparison, plus audio and offline packages.

  • Teachings

Written teaching and answered questions, published to your congregation or to the public.

  • A private journal

Private to its author — not to the pastor, not to the church owner, not to us.

Why privacy is the design and not a setting

A journal or a reading streak that leadership can read is a journal nobody writes in honestly. Direct messages are private to the two people in them, and the journal is private to its author. Group conversations are deliberately different — a group is a room with a roster, not a letter between two people — and we say so rather than blurring it.

Frequently asked questions

Can we see who is falling behind on a reading plan?
No, and that is deliberate. You get the number of people reading, never the names. A discipleship tool that reports on individuals stops being one.
Do you provide the course content?
No. You write your own, which is the point — your church’s teaching, in your church’s words.
