Events people can find, and a register you can keep
Put the calendar where your congregation already is, and record who came without a clipboard and a spreadsheet afterwards.
Events
Published to your congregation
With the details in one place, so nobody is asking in the group chat what time it starts.
RSVPs
So you know roughly how many chairs, how much food and how many volunteers.
Online events
An event can carry a link to where it happens, so a gathering your church holds online is an event like any other.
Attendance
A register per gathering, per day
Present, absent or excused — because a church that cannot record "away, and we knew why" either marks a person absent unfairly or stops keeping the register at all.
For groups as well as events
A small group meeting keeps a register the same way a Sunday service does.
Counted once
One register per gathering per day, enforced in the database, so taking the same register twice cannot quietly double your numbers.
Reports
Attendance and giving totals feed the reports your leadership actually reviews. Giving totals count confirmed gifts only; anything unconfirmed is shown separately and labelled as not counted.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it count online attendance separately?
- Not as a separate tally. An event can be held online, and you keep a named register for it the same way you would for a gathering in the building.
- Can group leaders take their own register?
- Yes, within the permissions their role carries for that group.
