PayPal for church donations
Live and verified with real money. Built around one distinction most integrations get wrong: a PayPal order that has been approved has not yet been paid.
How it works
Approval and capture are separate
The capture happens from PayPal’s signed webhook. Nothing is marked paid because a browser came back.
No percentage taken
The platform never takes a percentage of a gift.
One-off gifts
Monthly giving by PayPal is not built.
Availability
As with Stripe, PayPal giving is live for our founding ministry only while per-church payment accounts are built.
Frequently asked questions
- Do givers need a PayPal account?
- That depends on what PayPal offers in your country at checkout, which is their decision rather than ours.
