Stripe for card giving

Live and taking real money. Built on hosted Checkout deliberately, so the card is entered on Stripe’s page and never on ours.

How it works

  • Hosted Checkout

    The giver enters their card on Stripe. Our application never sees or stores a card number.

  • Marked paid by webhook only

    A gift becomes successful when Stripe’s signed webhook says so — never because somebody landed back on a thank-you page.

  • Money goes to your church

    Gifts settle to your church’s account. The platform never receives them.

  • One-off gifts

    Recurring card giving is not built. Regular gifts sent by transfer are recorded and confirmed instead.

Availability

Card giving is enabled per church on request rather than self-serve, because it currently runs through a single merchant account. Multi-merchant onboarding is the work that removes that step, and it is not finished.
